Looooooong Overdue Pupdate

I have been horribly, HORRIBLY remiss in not giving some pupdates since the Goths have been in their new homes.  Let’s rectify that!

First up:  Moose.  Moose is enjoying life with Russ and Laura Lagman, and his adopted brother, guinea pig Yazzy.  He clearly has the best of everything, and I’m secretly hoping that the Lagmans will decide to adopt ME.

Moose came back up in the fall to visit with his brother and get his ears taped, and it was so cool to see him recognize both me and his birthplace.  Heathcliffe wasn’t quite so sure about having to share with a sibling again, but they got some good playing in after an initial squabble.

It's really unfortunate that poor Moose doesn't have any toys.

Little Bella had some snow to contend with around the holidays, too.  I’m told she is gradually worming her way into her canine sister’s heart.

In addition to helping with the gardening in September, Bella was also on hand to help gather leaves in the fall. Or, you know, chew them up...

She still works the camera like a pro.

Yep, total pro.

She even enjoys the garden in winter.

I know little sisters can be a pain, but they also make good bed warmers.

This is the sort of holiday decoration I can get into.

Amelia is living a very active social life with Elyse Bronson, herding sorority sisters and alumni and, like her namesake, serving as Companion to a young Time Lord.

Like Moose, Amelia also clearly recognized me and her old home, and had a great time beating up on her brother, just like when they were teeny tiny baby puppies.  He slept VERY soundly after she went home.

For Halloween, a still-tiny Amelia dressed as the Stanley Pup.

It looks like she got a growth-spurt for Christmas, and WOW does she look like her mother!

Did I mention how she totally looks like her mom?

Amelia visited a dog show in December, and took the whole experience in stride.  Along with her mom’s good looks, she also seems to have inherited her pretty movement, so I am looking forward to coaching Elyse in running her around the conformation ring when she comes of age.

Heathcliffe, meanwhile, continues to grow into a big boy.  He is almost as big as his mom and his Aunt Saphira now.  While not as red as Dad Calvin, he is definitely redder than Whiskey.  I really need to take some photos of him doing something other than sleeping…

"Mommmm, I'm too old for this. You're embarrassing me!"

Whiskey continues to mother Heathcliffe, holding him down to clean his ears and such, and being constantly on guard lest one of the other dogs plays a bit too rough with him.  Hopefully, she will be having another litter sooner rather than later so that Heathcliffe can earn a little more independence!!
