Pupdate 9/19/13: Hi’s and Lowe’s

Fresh off of their visit to the office on Tuesday, the Goths ventured out to Lowe’s, along with their Auntie Willow and The Husband.  You may notice that there are no photos of The Husband pushing the pink puppy stroller.  That would be because that didn’t happen.  He did, however, push the cart with the pink sheepy crate pad and the fluffernutter, so I suppose that’s something.

Willow was working The Cute Factor super-overtime with the one-and-a-half ears thing.  I swear, there is nothing cuter than a fluffy corgi puppy, and with the sable coloring it looks like she’s wearing glasses.  This puppy’s adorableness may be the death of me.

"I likez the carts here. They haz chin rests and viewing portals for little puppies!"

The puppies check out some of the bathroom vanities.

Rain and Tryst think the marble is classy.

Tryst: "Do you thinkz this iz some o' dat fine Italian marble?" Rain: "Bitch, we're in Lowe's. What do you think?"

Willow was partial to the more contemporary styling of this basin sink.

"I thinkz the corner mounted faucet gives just the right amount of drama to da bafroom furnishings."

Of course, storage is an important thing to take into consideration when considering a bathroom remodel.  You need to have room to store your linens and… things.

"Goodnight, Jim Bob." "Goodnight, Mary Ellen..."

“Goodnight, Jim Bob.” “Goodnight, Mary Ellen…”

"Sometimes I just likez to take a moment to contemplate da mysteries of da universe."

Edgar, being a man’s man, has no use for bathroom furnishings.  He’s more into automotives.

"Dis one could use a widdle more air." *nom-nom-nom*

Seeing how traumatized all of the puppies were by their outing, it really reinforces for me how important early socialization is:

Seriously, if these guys don't stop freaking out about being in public, I just don't know what I'm going to do. ;-)

Jeez, if these guys don’t stop freaking out about being in public, I just don’t know what I’m going to do. 😉

Seriously, though, these guys are real troopers.  They were unfazed by visiting the office, and took all of the riding around, photo ops, and squeeing of strangers at Lowe’s completely in stride.  Even the rattling of ladders, beeping of fork lifts, and pounding on paint cans garnered no more than a curious look.  The elderly spaniel sniffing politely at the outside of the stroller was met with a calm look back.  I can’t wait to stroll the boardwalk with them this weekend!!!

  1. Adorable post!

On a serious note, when out in public, be careful of puppy thieves! Seriously, had a friend lose a young pup one time on an early socialization outing…Snatch and run!

  2. That’s the first thing I thought when the photo came up – that dog is wearing glasses! Too bad there’s already a “Harry Potter” Cardigan…plus the pup is a female. Do you thing the spectacles markings will fade? All the photos are adorable.
