Whiskey, growing up to be a big girl

Kate has been getting some lovely photos of the girls this week.  Many of you will have already seen these, but I wanted to snurch them for the sake of posterity.  It’s hard to believe that Whiskey was just a little stripey puppy not so very long ago.

Miss Whis, at 9 months

Whiskey is so different from my other dogs. She’s very soft and airy, yet funny and full of life. I call her “my little fairy dog,” and I can all but see her coppery, glittery wings.

She also does “Regal” very well.

Of an age, Whiskey and Valentine are now apparently besties. No good can possibly come from these two putting their heads together.

Oh sure, they LOOK cute and innocent…

…but it’s all a front.

Just as the fun is kicking into high gear, along comes Mom, and photo-bombs your selfie.

After all, Mom is a girl too, and girls just wanna have fun!

Of course, the girls can always gang up on Mom.

Sometimes, it is better to remember one’s age and dignity, and leave the youngsters to their own devices.
